Simply Conserve®'s Open-Cell Foam-Tape Weatherstripping is easy to install and helps reduce heating and cooling costs. No special tools or skills are needed. To install, just clean surface, cut to size, peel and stick. This Open-Cell Foam Tape Weatherstripping is made of soft compression sponge foam and features an aggressive pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. The Open-Cell Foam Tape Weatherstripping may be used to help seal out drafts, prevent heat loss and improve energy efficiency on doors, windows, attic hatches and around air conditioners.
Clean the door frame surface and allow it to dry completely.
Cut the foam weatherstripping tape to the desired length and press in place along the door jambs with fingertips. Peel off the backing.
When applying to the hinge of the door, put it on the same surface that the hinge is mounted.
B. Windows
Clean the window sashes.
Cut the weatherstripping tape to the desired length and press in place along the bottom of the lower sash and the top of the upper sash. Peel off the backing.
